Hi!  I'm Tess -- designer, crafter, dreamer, and perpetual list maker behind the scenes here at Wild Card Design Co. It makes me so happy that you're here and I truly hope you find something that you love!

Where it all began....

In the Spring of 2020 the world shut down as a virus spread across the globe. What started as two weeks at home turned into months (maybe even years?..). I went from working three jobs, and juggling ten different things at a time, to working one job a few hours a week. Honestly, I was bored out of my mind. 

I saw a friend wearing a pair of leather earrings and thought to myself, 'I could probably make those.' I suddenly had a ton of free time, and as it turns out, I actually could make leather earrings! I ordered some supplies, dreamed up some designs, and Wild Card Design Co. was born! 

From leather, to wood, to rattan, to polymer clay... Wild Card Design Co. continues to grow and evolve.

In the spring of 2023, I brought locally inspired threads by Wild Card Design Co. to life.

I was born and raised in a really, really beautiful corner of the world. Northwestern Pennsylvania is the sweet spot, where winters are snowy and gray, but summers are bright and sunny. Where springs are rainy and cool, but the fall colors are so bright and beautiful, they'll stop you in your tracks.

I created locally inspired threads with my home at the heart of each design, with the hope that maybe we could remind people to love your roots, and #lovewhereyoulive.

Creating brings me so much joy and I deeply love connecting with customers. Seeing people wearing designs that I have poured my heart into makes me so unbelievably happy. Thanks for being here, it means more to me than I can ever tell you!
